What to know about scallions

Scallions are a low-FODMAP win hiding inside a high-FODMAP vegetable. The white bulb is high in fructans, the same onion-and-garlic FODMAP that bloats and cramps sensitive guts, but the green tops are low-FODMAP and Monash-cleared.
