Dewberry is the bramble that grows sideways: a trailing, ground level Rubus whose fruit ripens ahead of the upright blackberries and wears a grey blue waxy bloom on every drupelet. The single flag is sugar alcohol: it grades high in polyols with a moderate FODMAP load overall.
