What to know about mango
Mango is one of the biggest fructose hits in the fruit aisle: it rates high in excess fructose and high FODMAP, so even half a cheek can leave a sensitive gut bloated, gassy or running to the bathroom. That deep tropical sweetness is largely free fructose, the FODMAP that outpaces glucose and ferments in the gut.
