About milk chocolate
The main trigger in milk chocolate is the milk.
It grades high in lactose and very high in dairy protein (casein and whey), on top of the histamine that rides along with any cocoa. Unlike plain dark chocolate it is pro-inflammatory and not vegan, so for many people a reaction to milk chocolate is really a dairy reaction wearing a chocolate wrapper.
